Fears, Anxieties & Phobias
I know everyone on here is well ard' so this may be a short thread, however I will ask anyway.

Do you have any Fears, Anxieties & Phobias?

I'm fine with dentists
I'm fine with injections
I'm fine with flying
So usual common stuff I am good with....

My one no no is sea travel, river cruises, trip to Alcatraz, pedalos on hols etc fine ... No actual fear of water and a good swimmer BUT my fear is actual SEA TRAVEL especially the open ocean. It doesn't even have to be rough seas it's the thought of seclusion with nowhere to go.

I went on the Canberra cruise ship back in 82 with parents and was fine (I was very young) but my fear probably comes from a crossing from Harwich in 2002 where it was force 9 and I was sure we were done for.

My parents have been in a force 11 on a cruise liner and also thought their time was up.

Since my experience and hearing about theirs I will not travel by sea yet I will get on a plane as if it was a bus ride

Next ....chicken. No matter how much I trust someone or if it's a reputable restaurant I won't eat chicken out. This stems from having salmonella and being hospitalised in 2005. Since then I will only eat chicken if my Mum cooks it (or me) and WILL NOT touch it at friends BBQs etc.

Probably got a few more but for now YOU CUNTS?

i hate snakes, wasps and rats, especially rats. i was out in the garden late one evening and i saw a bastard rat running under the full length hedge between the neighbour's and our gardens. an agreement was arranged between us the next day and 2 weeks later the hedge was gone and replaced with a nice fence instead. apparently they wanted rid of the hedge as well, so it all worked out well for both families. it certainly does help being friends with good neighbours imo.

I used to know someone with that.

Apparently its something to do with them being pushed thru the hole, gives a visceral reaction. Geezer used to feel physically sick at the sight of one apparently.

I don’t like other people’s farts but am happy with my own.

I'm quite normal, with a mild phobia of spiders. My wife has a fear of buttons...apparently it's not that uncommon and even has a name, koumpounophobia.

Don't ever drive over the Indiana Skyway outside of Chicago.

I hate bridges and heights, and that is one fucking tall bridge !

Not sure if this is a fear, phobia or what but I can't watch diving on TV...have a real (and illogical) fear that they are going to miss the pool and smash their heads open on the ground below. I am the same round swimming pools on holiday and can't relax around them, as have this genuine feeling that someone is going to fall and cut their head open - don't have it anywhere else, it has to involve a nearby pool of water.

Phobia-wasps. If they come in the room I have to kill them. Its them or me, so far its them.
If a bee comes in I try and usher it out.

Fears/Anxieties-public speaking. Even in groups of more than about 4 or 5. Its like someones glued my lips together.

You come across as the type of person who cups their own farts and smells them, comma.

I bet you do that in real life also.

What would be extraordinary would be for someone to post on here and portray their posting self precisely as they are in real life.

Why would anyone do that?

How about the fact his IQ appears to jump about 50 points between posts? Quite...extraordinary. it's almost as if he's a made-up character.
